In 2006, a group of businessmen who love agriculture in search of community development decided to plant a dream in Mexican lands, thus was born "Agropecuaria Cimarrón", which a year later would become Horticola Cimarrón SA de CV.
Hortícola Cimarrón, we are a Mexican company and food producer, leader in Pepper and Tomato exportation.
We started producing yellow, orange and red bell peppers in the 2007-2008 growing season under high technology hydroponic greenhouses.
Hortícola Cimarrón has become the leading distribution and production center in the Bajío region of Mexico with world-class quality, exporting 95% of its total production to the United States and Canada.
We currently generate employment for more than two thousand employees, directly benefiting their families and their community.
2007, OUR FIRST HARVEST:
We started with our first harvest in the month of October 2007, producing Yellow, Orange and Red Morron Pepper with 10 hectares of High Technology Hydroponic greenhouses and having a future project to expand to 160 hectares.
2012, WE STARTED PRODUCING ONE SWEET PEPPER:
During the 2012-2013 season, Hortícola Cimarrón starts the production of a new variety; One Sweet Pepper, better known as Mini Pepper.
2015, WE ACHIEVED OUR BEST HARVEST:
In 2015 we increased to 30 hectares of greenhouses, reaching 2016 with the Largest Pepper production in its history, managing to produce 29.5 kg per square meter.
2017, WE BEGAN TO PRODUCE TOMATO T.O.V. AND GRAPE:
During the start of the 2017-2018 Season, Hortícola Cimarrón begins a new stage by starting to produce Tomato in Cluster and Grape Tomato.
2018, WE BEGAN TO PRODUCE CHERRY TOMATOES:
Between 2018-2019, Hortícola Cimarrón introduces a new product variety; Cherry Tomato, adding 20 more hectares of greenhouses bringing employment to more than 1500 households.
2020, WE BEGIN TO PRODUCE TOMATO CAMPARY:
In the 2020-2021 season a new product variety is added; Campari Tomato. Likewise, in this season, 10 more hectares of greenhouses are added, directly benefiting more than 2,000 Mexican households.
In Hortícola Cimarrón we are passionate about traditional cultivation and the pursuit of excellence, so we also incorporate the best technological innovations to offer the best products and the best service to our customers.
All our crops are our own productions, which allows us to control the entire Value Chain, from seed to shipment to customers. With our management and control systems we ensure that our products reach the customer at their best, freshest, practically just harvested and just when their flavor is perfect.
